desktop computer (running which OS?) as main server for OpenMRS and for Raxa code. (IDEALLY could run 2 servers, development and production/stable, so we can verify our changes on development before moving to production)
laptops (can use our dev laptops) for development and testing
Would like to really easily be able to deploy the latest versions of OpenMRS, our Omods, our database data.
Is there a way to image the system (with MySQL, Tomcat, etc) so we can easily reformat and start fresh, too, if needed?
Can use Kickstart and then install apps via Apt-get. https://help.ubuntu.com/12.04/installation-guide/i386/automatic-install.html
Can set up all software once and then use SystemImager to roll back to "baseline" good state http://www.falkotimme.com/howtos/systemimager/
related to , which suggests a branching strategy for deployment at JSS.
